We're Back In The Game!

For those of you who have either inquired about our design/build services over the past year and/or have followed the relatively fast-paced evolution of our company, you are probably already aware of the fact that our company's focus had shifted in early 2009 from residential design and construction to more sustainable design and consulting. This was due, in part, to the unignorable reality of the real estate market coupled with buyers' budgets vs. project expectations.

Though the real estate market is still not out of the woods, there is still a very clear and expressed demand for the type of projects we used to have a direct hand in building. Seeing as there is still a vast shortage of GOOD SUSTAINABLE modern architecture throughout the region, we feel Concourse E still has a direct role to play in the residential and commercial market.

So I'm excited to announce that Concourse E is now, once again, considering residential and commercial design/build projects and renovations in addition to our expansive consulting and sustainable design services. This includes our capability to lead both commercial and residential LEED projects as we have a LEED AP on staff.

We have a new and extremely talented/driven team in place enabling us to offer our design/build services virtually anywhere in the world within almost any budget. Our focus is, and always has been, well designed and well built modern sustainable architecture that incorporates both progressive aesthetics and progressive environmental building principals that are essential to the future of 21st century architecture.

If you haven't already, check out our site and then contact us to discuss you or your client's project goals and ambitions. We are sure we can help in achieving them.

It's time you got solar...and we can help!

In our ongoing quest to become more effective purveyors of sustainability and energy efficiency, we are now offering solar electric and solar thermal system installation. We can design and install almost any type of solar PV or solar thermal system available. Our installers are some of the most experienced/qualified in the country and we use only the highest quality equipment.

Having over 10 years of experience in the solar industry, our installers are NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) certified which is the highest certification a solar installer can, and should, have. With substantial federal and state tax incentives essentially offsetting the majority of the cost for newly installed solar systems, anyone that wants, or is considering, solar should act now; especially commercial projects as the tax incentives are even greater. When you do decide to go solar give us a call.

For more info visit the solar page on our website here.

A study on what I've been saying about LEED for years...not that green

Finally some smart people (other than Thom Mayne) having their voices heard through the constant spoon-fed accolades the media gives for LEED certified projects. Goals for a project to be LEED and goals for a project to be green/energy efficient are two different things. People need to realize this.

How Best To Determine a Green Building
